I remember racing against all those guys as a junior. I'm having a mental block on the name of the guy on the left. I remember he was from out west, and was a hell of a climber.

I was a big Julich fan as well. Always a nice guy. In '89 when all those guys were last year juniors, Jonas Carney beat them both at Nat'l road race. He won the Crit too. Lance won the TT.

For those who don't know, Pike's Peak is just outside Colorado Springs, CO where the US Olympic Training Center is. I wonder why the center wasn't built in Boulder though...
i know where it is just giving him crap :).... Because no olympic athletes could afford to live in boulder.
