I feel sorry for photographers come out to local triathlons, bike rallies, took pics and sell online. It's all good, but they don't know how to take pics. If they take side shots like Frodo's and Sanders' in the link. They will sell way more. It's always same crap when I get emails from them. Same awkward and not so attractive angle on the bike so I always pass.

That is why races need to hire great photographers. For our SwimRun NC race we hired Aaron Palaian and Kai-Otto Melau of Norseman fame.

Plus we don’t sell the pics, we share them with the athletes for personal social media use.
