Signed up for IMMT 2020, we all know how that went, so now I’m going entered in IMMT 2021. Last month finished an oly and had knee pain that just wouldn’t go away. Went to specialist and doc says “no cartilage in left knee”, so now on track for orthovisc injections this month. The thing with these as some of you might know is they COULD last 6 months (June best case scenario). Btw Total entry refund is by December 12 for mont tremblant. So here are the questions.
*Considering the facts above should I just go for the refund?
I want to race, I just can’t see it happening with this knee pain and then having something else get injured.
*should i continue training after shots... if so maybe run a lot less?
* can I sell my entry since it’s paid for and I haven’t bought flight/lodging?
A friend of mine might wanna buy it and it would be his first IM.
*what if my injections wear off early, are “we” limited to a number of shots a year?
*are there any other ideas for me to make this happen?
