Agreed. He's second. Kienle has a better grasp of humor and is a little less guarded emotionally, which makes him more relatable.

Agree. It is great to get some insight into the personalities, training and R&D of these athletes. The era of Youtube has really increased accessibility and driven content in this regard.

Anybody know what that adjustable front-wheel riser is? I'm looking for something that lets me perfectly level my bike. Weirdly the adjustable (in steps) Elite riser I bought with my Direto doesn't have a setting that matches the rear axle height.

Maybe check with the shop that yiu got the right one for your wheel size?

Kurt kinetic and cascade make riser blocks with a 4 options and cyclops make one with 3 options... Usually these are enough to cover the wheel and tyre sizes because in a non tt position you can adjust for tire size with elbows. But tt position eliminates that option and seat can be less forgiving.

Not sure about a tt one where you can dial in horizontal more precisely or compensate for floor uneveness. A road isn't exactly horizontal either, but it isn't sloping one way 100 percent of a ride either.

Sounds like a patent waiting to happen!

I bought the Elite adjustable riser block (the Stu-Sta I think it is called) to go with my Elite Direto trainer. The lowest setting on the riser block is still too high for where the Direto places the rear of the bike, even if I raise the trainer a bit by using the adjustable feet. Bit of a shame.

I've found an adjustable riser from Retul (here) which is expensive and probably intended for fitters. In fairness I don't need the adjustability, just the correct height for the trainer and front wheel/tyre combo I'm using so that my saddle, pad and extension angles are the same indoor and out. I'll probably stop being lazy and get the tape measure out and then just see what I can buy.
