I dont get it? trying to compare a BB to an integrated HS is not valid, as to the point that others have made.

What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?

I get it, first of all, it was a joke and it is valid. Sure, an integrated head set could go bad and cost a frame. It's possible and maybe, just maybe, it could be probable but does it deserve that huge rant? A bottom bracket can go bad, miss-thread, or corrode too. You frame maker could stop selling the replaceable derailer hanger to your bike and that could cost you a new frame too.
How many headsets actually get roached without a tell tale warning? Maybe it's due to home mechanics over tightening or improperly installing them. If you get a little wiggle or a clicking noise and you keep riding, maybe your the type who should fuel the economy and keep buying new frames anyway.

As much of a joke that you do think this is Klein used a press in BB which was stiffer than the other BB available at the time. The only problem is that they are the only ones to use it and they gave up on it after a while... Not really sure why they gave up on it though.
