Biggest ever swimming month since I started training for Triathlon 30 years ago!

October total: 92,200m - 23 swims - 32h15

Getting old here not sure if this is realistic but will give a try!

2019 goal swim sub 27mins for half in a wetsuit and it will take a great draft!

Monty is aware of this, but this was my birthday set target

6500m as 13x500m (400IM + 100 free and on the last one 400IM plus 100 IM). Departure time per 500m = 10 minutes...goal was 15 seconds rest

that's a monster swim.. well done !

my day looks more like a paddling pool, 4x400IM scy on 8:30, as 7:19,31,37,31
was swimming this set at 7:15 or under for all four back in May, not sure what happened.. too much biking and running I suspect.. ha

Unfortunately no, it was a pile of those flat ear shaped ones, and it had a nice red plum in it. At first everyone thought I was going to be airlifted, but then realized it was the plum that broke all over me, and I only lost a medium amount of blood. Pulled our a couple dozen barbs, and then when I got done with the ride and home, wifey pulled out another couple dozen more with the tweezers. You know, those barb tipped prickles, they are the worst..

But all good after a good swim and hot tub, just some battle scars now...

Glad you are back at it, been quiet around this thread for awhile..
