Is this Cerevelo P5 a good deal?

Just curious what people think of this P5. Can you identify the year?

It seems a little expensive to me but looks in good shape.

I'd call that a pretty good deal with the Zipp 404s.

Okay deal but not great. There is a lot of old tech on that bike: 10 speed drivetrain, 10 speed wheels, mediocre cockpit. Obviously all pretty upgradable but those wheels alone aren't worth more than $400, if that. There have been some crazy deals on bikes through Facebook recently. Stuff like a Giant Trinity Pro with Etap for $3k. I'd say keep looking.

Is that a super early version? The fork, cockpit, and front end look totally different from any other P5 I have seen.

It's a little expensive. Think of it as basically an old NP3

If the decals are correct, those Zipps are no newer than model year 2000. Great wheels then, but performance wise I suspect they aren't close to today's bullet shape.

I'll ride my 10 year old Reynolds Assaults because I know what they've been through and roughly how many miles are on them. There is no way I'd buy almost 20 year old wheels.
