Pondering Ironman Florida in 20 weeks - coming off of some serious training a 2 months ago but nothing much bc of a move, new job, etc. I’m I crazy? Just looking to finish - Is this a crazy idea?

Sure, why not? Probably half of the field is in the same position.

Have you been consistent over the last few years? What was your training like on average before? Are you overweight? Do you get injured easily?
Have you done tris before?
How do you plan on training for the upcoming 20w?

You already have 2 months under you belt and you just want to finish.....no problem. You can do that.

Plenty of time - just make sure you are consistent with your training.

If you're pretty fit you can crush an IM with 6-8 weeks of specific training.
20 weeks to get into great IM race shape? Easy if you've been moderately active
It takes a lot less time to regain fitness then build it in the first place
