I am looking to do a long ride this weekend incorporating most of the new course for the Pocono Mountains 70.3. ( http://www.ironmanpoconomountains.com/event-info/course-maps ). The website notes that "some roads are under repair so any rides of the course before the event are done at your own risk." Can anyone speak to this? I'm sure 209 is good to go, but I'm a little nervous about the lengthy section on River Rd. (which Google Maps claims is closed in Winter) and also the stretch on Cherry Valley Rd. through the Cherry Valley Wildlife Refuge, which is supposedly "newly formed". Also, anyone know if I'll be hassled for parking at the Tamiment Resort/Golf Club (i.e. T1)?
