"Ironman Brazil is just the start of my three year plan to master the Ironman distance", stated Walton when asked of his decision to race Ironman Brazil. "I’ve always heard great things about this race. The fast bike conditions are definitely an influencing factor for me racing there, as well as the time of the year. It fits in perfectly with my short course season and will give me enough time to recover for the Life Time Fitness Triathlon in July. From there I'll be able to move onto Hawaii Ironman in the fall."
A possible Andersson, Walton breakaway at Kona in the works?
