Informal Bike poll....could be interesting stuff
Quote | Reply
Now that "Kona" is over and the world champion has been crowned...the bike count is and has been in, I am curious as to what the ST community rides. How many ride a cervelo, Kuota, Softride, etc......I will try to compile a list after we get enough responses. Heres the information I would like to have.

What Brand
model (Ie: k-factor, kalibur, etc)
what race wheels
Pedals
component brand and level
approx how steep do you ride

Thanks in advance.....lets see how the bike manfu. stack up on this forum.

Tri bikes: 2007 Cervelo P3C with Dura-Ace and 2008 Felt B2 Pro with Dura-Ace. About to be replaced with an '08 P3C with SRAM Red (the 07 is for sale...)

My tri bikes are sitting at about 81 degrees.

Road bikes: Cervelo Soloist Carbon and Felt F1, both '07's. The 07 Felt is also for sale and is being replaced by the new '08 when I sell it.

I use time pedals and race on Zipp wheels mostly.

It would be interesting. I would love to see a min. of 50 responses to get a control group. The more responses, the more accurate the results.

I'll bite:

Tri Bike: Trek Equinox TTX (size Small) built with Campy Record/Chorus grouppo, Zipp Vuka Bull and Vuka Clip-ons (with SRAM brake levers), Zipp Clincher Disc, Hed 3 Clincher front.

Road Bike: Colnago C-40 (2000) with Record Grouppo and Standard Box Rims (Record Hubs laced to Mavic Open Pro CD)

CCX Bike: Moots Psychlo-X with Chorus Grouppo and Mavic Ksyrium Wheels

MTB: Moots YBB with SRAM X-9/Hope and Industry Nine Wheels

SS: Moots Moot-X Hard Tail with Hope Components and Industry Nine Wheels

Track Bike: Colnago MasterPista with Campy Record Pista components and light box-rim tubulars

All my bikes use Thomson Masterpiece seatposts and Ritchey WCS/4-Axis Stems/Bars. I'm almost exclusive about riding Michelin Rubber (CCX, Road, TT), but ride Kenda for MTB.
