Improve my position

2nd video @
https://vimeo.com/303806587 (raised/forward seat, removed dust cover)

Difficult for me to get to a (reputable) fitter, so this is my position that I'm regularly tinkering with, and what I've had for the past ~12 months. Video shows my natural position, i.e. the one I fold in to when I get on the bike without consciously shrugging, tilting etc. Have no pain and it's (mostly) comfortable all day (focus on 1/2 - IM). Current FTP in this position is ~4w/kg, video is a bit below 1/2 IM power. Bits n' pieces:
  • Shiv M (I'm 5'11" ish, 179cm)
  • ISM Attack
  • 165mm cranks
  • -17 120mm stem
  • ~10mm(?) Shiv dust cover under stem
  • 3T Vola Team, no risers, USE 50 deg bars

How's it look? What can I tweak or improve with current setup in terms of position to potentially make me faster/produce more power?

You sure about that?
Raising his saddle won't help his toe pointing situation.

Did you warm up a little before shooting the video?

Low saddle equals fast.

looking at "toe pointing" as a signal for saddle height is usually, but not always, misguided.

Where are your cleats positioned (fore-aft) on your shoes?

What other saddles have you tried, and how did you arrive at this one?

comment was based on knee angle not ankle

Updated video @ https://vimeo.com/303806587
Changes:
  • Raised seat ~8-10mm
  • Move seat forward by ~same amount
  • Removed dust cover (replaced with a ~2mm low stack one I had)

Rode for 2 1/2 hours this morning in this position with a ROB, no issues. Knee angle still looks OK to me, despite my apparent preference to point my toes. Perhaps more a tight calf/ankle issue? Cleats are all the way back, have been using Attack for the last few years now, I have narrow hips, and like to sit forward on the saddle, it's worked the best/been the most comfortable so far. Thanks for the comments.

I asked about the seat based on how far your pelvis is rotated backwards. You can see it for yourself. Have you tried rotating more forward? What's keeping you from doing that and straightening your back just a bit?

If cleats are all the way back on the shoe then the toes down just seem like your style.

I guess I just haven't consciously tried to do it before, but yes I can see it for sure. Something to focus on and try and form some new habits.

Some people really brace with their back. Try relaxing it and let your belly hang. It'll feel weird at first; practice while just spinning until you get the hang of it. You will probably want more reach or drop then also. You could try moving the saddle back a little also.
