Impedance, breakpoint pressure... what are we missing?
So I am a bit late to the show, but I have been thinking a lot on the topic of impedance, breakpoint pressure, crr, and finding the happy medium between casing losses (lower with higher tire pressure), and impedance losses (increase as pressure gets too high, and variable by surface).

Here is a recap: https://silca.cc/...stance-and-impedance

So, a few questions that have come to my mind are:
- does breakpoint pressure change linearily with rider weight?
- does the breakpoint pressure change with rider speed?

My kick at the can is that the breakpoint pressure drops as rider weight drops, likley in a linear fasion. I also figure that the breakpoint pressure goes up (the impedance curve shifts right) SLIGHTLY as rider speed increases.

If anyone has data, or ideas one way or the other, i would love to see it. I am just spitballing hypotheses based on armchair logic.
