If you're in my age group...
I've seen a couple posts like these in the latex tubes & IM breakfast threads and I'm dying.

Similar theme to the "Sh*t triathletes say" thread...

If you're in my age group, you should exclusively ride gatorskins

If you are in my age group, you should remember that tires just slow you down. Forget tubeless, go tireless and ride on that rim

I do the same thing as them, just slower

If you’re in my age group grow out your leg hair and wear a baggy shirt. Nothing says cool like flapping in the wind!

I still lapped everyone on the couch!

if youre in my age group, only worry about being fastest on the bike. The swim and the run don't even matter.

Sleep in, miss the race. There's always another one.

If you're in my age group, wear an aero helmet, but sit up (out of aero position) the majority of the time you are riding the course

If you are in my age group, go out hard at the beginning of the run. You want to "bank time" for later in the race.

To reduce transition time in T1, put your helmet on already during the swim

Great idea! It'll help keep their head above the water AND protect from the whacks to the head from other swimmers.

Great idea for a thread palmtrees. I’m all about helping out my fellow Age Groupers.
I've done quite a few IMs so trust me that the following are from true and tried experience.
I'm not going to share all my secrets because that would just be flat out stupid. I will thus limit to 3.

1. Breakfast (repost from yesterday. Apologies to those who already read it)

For optimum effectiveness about 90mn before start.
2 or 3 Cups Cherries
1 Peach
2 Cups Broccoli and Cauliflower smoothie
½ Cup Corn
2 Glasses Prune Juice
8 oz Low Fat Pringles
1 Bowl Chili
2 TBSP Chia Seeds
½ Pomegranate

2. Drafting

The 12 meter draft zone is more guideline than actual rule.

3. Feeding Zones

Run as fast as you can through the feeding zones. While everyone else (lemmings) is walking you’ll make up tons of time!!!!

Adding to your breakfast suggestions, some of us prefer all-liquid nutrition. If that's the case, substitute your breakfast with my "mega mix".
32 oz coffee
16 oz Mirolax
