My new Cervelo Soloist Team has arrived. I am so stoked. I can't wait to get this thing built up. It is really cool. Beautful paint and a very intersting seat tube configuration. Unfortunately next week I will be gone taking care of tigers at a game preserve so I won't be here to build it or ride it :( but when I get back I'm pullng an all-nighter. There is a certain coolness to getting it the same week Tyler won LBL on it. I'm stoked.

Sweet! I look forward to your report. I enjoyed your active.com interview, even though I could only listen with one ear as I pretended to work. Did I miss something, did you explain *why* you're going to Texas to take care of tigers? Are you a large-feline care specialist in addition to everything else you do?
I love cats. The bigger, the better. These are as big as they come... How many people can say they have walked in a cage with a 300 pound (or whatever) tiger? I'm stoked.

any idea if cervelo is plannign on releasing the P3 in the CSC colours... damn cool looking... looks almost like a mondrian painting or the quills of an arrow...

Several people have asked if the P3 will be available in that paint scheme. To be honest, I'd be excited about getting the P3 I ordered back in September. My Soloist Team arrived so maybe that is a good sign. I'm not sure if they will do the CSC red/white paint scheme in the P3- That's Gerard's department. It would be cool though.

I've read you've been on vacation, so any chance that you've set up your Team Soloist?
You also wrote a well-done review on original Soloist on your website... so the obvious question.. how do they compare? Can you tell the difference in forks, smartwall 2 vs smartwall 1, and finally carbon seatpost?

PS The bottom line: thinking about 02 Soloist on close-out vs newer fork & carbon seatpost Team Soloist....
Tom, is there all that much difference between the tubing material? The carbon seat post is a nice edition but is the fork any better?
Tom, if you get eaten there can I have it?
