I just dug around and found the video I was looing for. QR 1993.
Is this formula the key to the fist school/
C=.005D(squared)-.2D
C being arm rest drop and D being measurement from center of bottom bracket to top of saddle?
Pretty cool stuff. I am going to check my own set up later and see if I am close to this.

Dan just revised it. You can find it in the technical section. The new formula is

C=.005D(sqd)-.22D+/- 1.5

Which means most pro's are not riding as aggressive as previously thought

Ok,
just measured my bike. Accding to 1993 and Dan, my drop from my seat to bar pad should be 151mm. I am riding right now at 130mm drop. With the new equation I am in there. Accding to Dan at my seat height my drop should be 138.2 +/- 1.5cm. I now agree with Dan. This is a good equation. Pretty cool to see where I am comparitavely.
So for the updated equation my drop should be
Also, changed the stock pads and pad bases on the new hed handle bar to pads off a jammer gt. waaaay better.
