Any hall of fame is going to have a time lag. Look how long it was before the Hawaii Ironman had a non-US winner....and now how long it has been since there was one.

Do you see any evidence that athletes have been overlooked because of their race?

As a person of African descent...technically Ja-merican, I get it. It's 100% white but as far as I know there aren't any people of color who should be in the Hall of Fame. It will come but first you need the athletes at the pro level and then the success and longevity to qualify. It's like saying that the Hall of Fame in skiing is largely white.

1. Give it time. It took a long time from their beginnings for the Football and Baseball Hall of Fames to include non-white.

2. Give it a rest. Just think how much more time you'll have to train!

How about Tom Seleck? He's Hawaiian, right? ... and he's white, so that checks all of the boxes to make people happy :)

Between this post and your "Diversity" post, methinks someone is too hung up on race, when the rest of the triathlon community doesn't give a crap. My guess is you are not white and have an issue with white people, or you are a white social justice warrior feeling a massive amount of "white guilt" compelling you to post twice about the "whiteness" of the sport. Don't see systematic racism where there is none. For the sake of the forum, give it a rest already.
