Finished IM Canada yesterday and it was 2 hours slower than my IM Sanda Rosa.
Venue is great! whistler has a lot to offer other than the race. Course is breath taking. Organization top notch. Lake is so cool, nice and clear. No bear sighting this time.
Bike was very hilly and hot as hell. Forecast was 92, I felt like 100 under the sun. 2nd and 3rd loop was hard. Endless up and down, no resting.
Run course is very hilly too. Saw a lot medical emergency on the run. Athletes drop like flys. Never saw more ppl walking in my races. It is the hardest race in North America. I think only 1100 out of 1400 starters finished the race.
