What's the wheel deal on wheel based performance increases?

Let's talk Krysirum Elites vs Cosmic Carbone's vs 404s vs 606s

Are we spending in upwards of $1500-$2k for 2 minutes in a 40K to 7 min in an IM distance?

I'm not trying to troll. I'm not trying to slam anything here. I'm just trying to reevaluate, proioritize and simplify.

I tend to race mainly flat courses over a variety of distances, with the hillliest being Wildflower Half. I'd like to do a few road races starting next year. I'm a big dood... 6'3" around 210 for an ideal race weight. So having a set of 1100g Lew's would probably feel super light in my hands and on the bike before the race and could leave me with carbon spliters after??
