I've just been placed on Lisinipril (today), which is a popular blood pressure lowering medication. Does anybody have any comments about this blood pressure lowering drug or others like it and what, if any, complications have you noticed while using this drug while training/racing? BTW, I'm 37 and hypertension runs in the family.

don't fret! You should have no problems, now you can look forward to a much longer tri carear. I take hyzar which is a ACE inhibitor, very modern. I have no effects in training. Interesti g note. I thought all my training and good living would keep my BP down, wrong. There is a group of us that diet and training does not lower BP, we are lucky they have a solution!
