Hyperbaric?
Hey all, So I'm carting around a lovely moonboot thanks to stress fractures and shin splints simultaneously on my left tibia. My Doc said i should look at spending some time in the chamber to speed up recovery, has anyone here had first hand experience with hyperbarics and if so would you recommend it?

on Dec the 2nd i have a 70.3 so can't spend to much time off recovering and this boot only comes off end September as it is.

Thanks in Advance

I spent 3 weeks doing 1.5hrs, twice daily in the tube (trying to get tissue to cover a severed achilles, muy ugly).

I can't speculate on what it might do for stress fractures etc, but for wounds, it's the shiznit. In very simple terms, it forces more oxygen into the cells. My hair & fingernails grew at an astounding rate, as well.

It can't hurt, very well may help. I still think about getting a Gamov bag and an oiless pump, hyperbarics are that cool.
