I see lots of people posting their personal bikes and calling it "porn" and it made me think, what is Slowtitch's definition of "bike porn"?
In 1964, Justice Potter Stewart tried to explain pornography, or what is obscene, by saying, "I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced . . . [b]ut I know it when I see it . . ."
In 1973, in Miller v. California, Justice Burger announced the the definition, which, more or less, is still in effect today. In part: "(a) whether the 'average person, applying contemporary community standards' would find that the work, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest..."
So, for fun, extrapolating that to bikes and considering Slowtwitch as the "community", what makes a bike "porn"?
