I am a relative "newb". Five years. But, this does pose a question: at what point is a screen name like "Newguy" no longer applicable on a forum where some of the old timers have been active since the time when access required dial-up?

I used the "old" forum, left for a while, came back, left the new forum for a while, came back.

I'm guessing 2003 or 2004?

Very close to the beginning when the forum was still a list of hypertext links. I think quite a few people moved here from the triathlete magazine forum which had become a bit of a shit-show. Before that it was the alt-triathlon news group. Slowtwitch is a happy shiny place compared to that.

longer than this forum has been here. I wasn't on RST though. Well, I saw it and probably posted on it a little bit, but I wasn't active on it.

April of 2003, I just happened to come across this forum.

Eight years for me.

I really wish there were a members directory available that listed things like registration date, post count, likes/dislikes counts, etc. How else am I supposed to figure out how quickly I'm moving up the leaderboard (and who's next)?

Registered in Aug. 2003. I see from my list of posts that I posted once in 2003, then didn't post again until 2006. I was a regular reader/poster on the public Gordo Byrn forum until he ended it, which I'm assuming was in 2006. Was also an RST reader, occasional poster.

Lurked for a while, registered in 2010, continue to lurk.

I'm a super newb. Got into tri about 3 years ago. Lurked here for the first year or so then started posting.
