Help with BB info on 2012 Cervelo R3
Hi,
I have a 2012 Cervelo R3. It has the press fit BB. When I got the frame it has BB30 bearings already in it. I am using a dura ace 7900 crankset. I purchased bb cups sizing it down to 24mm. I went to put the cranks on only to learn that the non drive side axle isn't long enough. I ask kindly what BB cups do I need ?

Thank you,
Gene

Either a BBright adaptor to size down the BB30 bb (it sounds like you got a BB30 adaptor) https://wheelsmfg.com/...-shimano-cranks.html
Or a BBright 24mm specific bottom bracket https://wheelsmfg.com/...no-cranks-black.html

Thanks I'm guessing the first option would work. Like I said it came with BB30 bearings in it. When I put my dura ace crank in it way too big. So I bought some dura ace 24mm cups but won't work. Thanks, Gene

The thing with the BBright shell on your frame is that the NDS is built out by 11mm. So if you fitted a standard BB30 adaptor you're 11mm too wide. The BBright specific adaptor is the same as BB30 on the DS, but nearly nonexistent on the NDS.
