Help! Deathride in 3 weeks, find me a saddle.
Guys, deathride in 3 weeks but I can not find a saddle fits me. I liked the sharp of smp. But they are too narrow. My sit bone is 135mm.
The ride is 12 hours mostly climb. Any suggestion?

I also have a wide duff. After mapping the fitter put me on the

Again I think I have the Ti rails and they may come in different widths. I just park the sit bones and can ride all day on this thing. But you need to break any saddle in a bit. I guess 12 hours will do it :/

If you're sits bones are 135, you'll likely find your best fit in the 140-145mm range.

What is wrong with your current saddle. It's pretty easy to fit on a road saddle. Just level the thing out. For a 12 hour ride, drop it 5mm to 10 mm and suddenly you'll find this saddle just fine, especially during the final half. Look how "low" protour rider positions are.

Thank you all. I tried about five saddles from LBS this weekend. Final result is a big surprise. I liked a mountain bike saddle from wtb more than anything else. It is wide, soft, curve at the right spot and nice cut off in the middle. Everything I wanted.
The best part is, compare to high end road saddles, wtb is really cheap. TI version is under $100 weights less than 250g, not bad.

I like the Specialized Romin Evo Expert. It's got a drooped nose and a decent cut-out, like the SMP and available in 3 widths IIRC. It suits me, might be worth trying although it's very close to a long event to be experimenting with saddles!

I have really good luck with the WTB Volt in the fit studio. Comes in 3 widths, and the Comp version is $40.
