Last night my daughter and I were doing an easy ride and when she turned into the driveway her steering locked up and she crashed. I picked up her bike and the headset seemed locked up and I pulled it some and then it came undone. It seems fine now but of course it scared her to death and she's afraid to use it for her tri this weekend, and I'm concerned for her safety as well. Hopefully I can get it into a shop tomorrow, but what could have caused that? If I can't get it in to a shop (we're racing out of town) what should I look for or do? The bike has an FSA internal headset, is a year old with low miles and has never been used in the rain or dirty conditions.
