I'm assuming you're talking about the CaliforniaMan 1/2 IM. The Folsom area is a great venue for a race. J&A Productions puts on great races, though this is their first attempt at 1/2 IM and IM. I've done the Oly that they put on in Folsom, along with several of their other races in the San Jose area, and they're always top notch. I'm not that familiar with the course specifics for the 1/2- I think Cathy can probably shed some light here. I haven't made it up there yet to ride the course. Are you doing the 1/2 Francois? I look forward to meeting you.

Disney half is the same weekend, and I, Bobo, throw down a personal challenge to thee, Francois. Loser buys the ice cream.
Show up if you got the guts, and about 6 bucks for the Blue Bell.

I say go for it, Francois. Cathy and I will both be there doing the full IM.

I used to train on the run course all the time. Very scenic, though definitely not flat as they describe. Lots of short ups and downs and a couple of longer climbs.

that's my choice I guess. I am not interested in yet an other IMNA packed with 2000 athletes...
Folsom is much more appealing than Orlando...

I am also considering this 1/2. Good thing is that it probably won't sell out so I can decide a few weeks before.

poule mouilee jaune (adjective after the noun in french)...
but it would be MA poule mouillee, not mon...because a "poule" is feminine..
