HED Disc, any comments?

I'm shopping around for a new wheelset and am looking for a deep spoked front and possibly a disc rear. I was planning on ordering the HED 3D Disc/Alps front but found out that they aren't making the 3D anymore due to problems with trueness. The Zipp 909 combo is most likely out of my price range, although I could probably swing it since it does sound pretty damn nice. My other options are a 404 front and rear, HED Alps front/Superlight Disc Rear, and 404 front/Falcon rear. Anyone had any positive or negative experiences with the HED disc? I don't really see anyone using it at all and it seems like it's been around for a while. I'd consider a Renn for the value but if I'm getting a disc it'll have to be a light one as I'd like to be able to use it on even really hilly courses. I'm riding a borrowed Falcon at a race next week and that disc seems pretty nice although there sure is a lot of lateral give in the wheel. Thanks in advance.
