H3 reading low?
Anyone else with a H3 find it reads lower than their power meter? Initially, it seemed pretty close to my P2M power meter, but lately the H3 has been 20 or more watts low. I trust my power meter and that is what I’ll obviously use in outdoor races and training. This morning I did a race on Zwift and the H3 was 315/317 and my power meter was 336/342 for AP and NP. I have another P2M on my road bike, and I see the same thing. This seems to be outside the advertised accuracy for the H3.

Have you calibrated using the Saris app?

I have a gen 1 Hammer which is largely similar and I’ve noticed it reading lower than my Assioma uno pedal. I spent a while recording them separately (using Trainerroad with the hammer and Assioma with zwift) and I believe at first they aligned pretty closely but maybe with subsequent firmware releases the measurements have deviated? But my discrepancy if I recall was about 10-15w. I use powermatch on trainerroad now and it works great

Not too recently - probably last in December. Still the same discrepancy after calibrating the last time.

I had to borrow a H3 recently (kickr bike failed again...) and i found the same thing. Used to have a Neo and both my powermeters and also my wife’s matched the neo to within a few watts (considering drivetrain losses etc).

The H3 always seemed ~5% too low even after considering drivetrain and i did check the calibration several times. Got my replacement kickr bike and power was back to matching pedals like expected

I have the original Hammer along with P1 pedals. Interesting for me in that both read very similar until the last couple of weeks. Now, Hammer reads 15-20W lower than P1 pedals. All firmware is up to date across the board and I consistently calibrate both - via Zwift (for the Hammer) and my Polar Vantage V2 (for the P1 pedals). My next test will be to switch - read Hammer via my V2 and P1s on Zwift.
