Hey NC Peeps,
a gang of us is staying in Celo, just off 80 north of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We want to do some gravel/fire road riding, maybe a 25-30 mile loop. Ideally we wouldn't have to drive too very far to a trailhead.
I know about the roads up to the parkway from behind Mt. Mitchell golf course, and also Curtiss Creek Road. Is there good gravel/fire road stuff towards Little Switzerland or out of Bakersville?
