Dreams die hard don't they?

I understand, I have been waiting for the Flyers to win the Stanley Cup again and for the Eagles to get back to the Super Bowl and win this time for longer than you have been alive.

Fantastic move....no response from Armstrong. This could be good!

This split the peleton apart. There is a Rabobank rider who's in the Armstrong chase group who's at 173 bpm out of his 175 max. Ullrich is really laying it down.

Great move by the team -- if Ullrich is caught, Kloden can serve up a counter-attack. While I love the move by Ullrich, it does seem early to go? Especially with a break up the road. Is this an Ullrich move or a T-Mobile move?

How far ahead does Jan have to get so that Postal can't bridge back to him on the descent?

I'd love to see him get 2, 3 minutes back today. I just like to see someone fighting against Postal.

I enjoy watching Lance but the precision of his execution this year has taken all the fun out of the Tour. A difference of mere seconds going into the last TT last year was much more fun!

I don't think it's too early. He has to try something big in order to stay in the hunt for this tour.

Deep down I wonder if he was bluffing....

I know how you feel. Every season us Cowboy fans say this is the year we getting back the dyansty of the early 90's. Let freestyle believe though. He will soon be older and realize that dreams are ment to be smashed and destroyed. Oh youth, when anything is possible. ;-)

Jan has just caught and passed O'Grady and Gonzalez.

if armstrong's rivals had any brains, they'd all get together and work out a plan to take turns attacking, wearing him out. then let basso eat into his lead during the time trial, then continue to attack the rest of the tour. if they timed it right, they could wipe lance out and somebody else (basso) could win.

Ullrich said he'd attack all week if he had to...I think the whole peloton will attack and wear Armstrong out...They may be tired of the tactics used day in and out by the Postal team and want to break the dynasty.

CHAOS as this race explodes on the Cat-1 grades of the Col de l'Echarasson... The lead duo -- Richard Virenque and Michael Rasmussen -- are in the final km to the summit. TIME SPLITS COMING RIGHT UP...

It's hard to catch riders on the descent. Risky.

I agree -- that's why I'm asking if this move is for the benefit of Ullrich or T-Mobile? (Kloden)? Either way - it is good to see Ullrich trying something.
