Gatorade @ NA Ironman
Hello all, hope training is going well. Question for any of you. The North American Ironman newsletter states that the aid stations on the Bike will have Gatorade edge bottles(Lemon Lime). Are they the pre packaged type or the stuff they make by hand that is generally too watery or too strong??

Thanks in advance.

Prepacked fit right in the bottle cages, all they do is remove the foil on the inside.

And they have the twist top that you can open and close with your mouth. Those bottles rock!

Thanks guy's and gals' just trying to plan my race day nutrition out. Now I have a clear idea, because I did not want to carry too much on the Hilly IMW course.

Thanks, T

Yes, the plan is to carry 2 of my own Gatorade bottles (the large ones) laced with all the fat (MCT Fuel) I will need, my Supa Drinks. Now I can cut the weight down a little because they are serving stuff that is a little better than cold water. Like I say the bike during Ironman is nothing but a 6 hour buffet.

I drank gatorade and water all day long at Wisconsin.

I also had I think 6-8 gels and 3 cliff bars but I cant remember.

Only had the latter because I had the munchies and like solid food though.
