Might be other wireless systems interfering. Wireless powertaps and SRMs interfere with this equipment sometimes. Check to see that your speed and cadence sensors are reading properly during your training this week. If they're good, try turning the system on and riding it for a minute or two before the race to make sure the wireless signals are properly calibrated for your specific devices.
