I will be traveling to Galveston 70.3 here in a few weeks and may need a bike shop in the area once I arrive to help with re-assembly of my bike. Anybody local that can recommend a place to help? Thanks in advance!

True, but travelling to Galveston would likely mean driving or flying through Houston. At least that's what I was thinking.

There will be a shop on site at the race (I can't recall which one) that can probably do it. I know I have seen them pulling bikes out of boxes in the past.
You could also contract Justin of Bike Minded Guru. He is a mobile service provider. I use him for tune-ups. Last year he wasn't allowed on site but he would probably meet you at your hotel (if you are not staying at Moody Gardens) or in a parking lot somewhere.
