It's slow at times for me but I'm still on dial-up internet, which shows how far out in the boonies we live. The good news that high speed internet will be vailable in our area in a few weeks.

Still slow for me. T1 at work, DSL at home. The rest of the site seems to be OK- it's just the forum that's slow.

Yup, slow, but worth the wait.

Actually I find this is probably one of the fastest forums around. (And believe me I get around on the Net. That's why I'm the gopher, I have a knack for finding holes, and popping up in a lot of places.) I would tend to think part of your probllem may be in you browser. If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer like a lot of us you may need to mess with your settings. Check under privacy or custom settings and check what it is set under. I found that mine was running with an option that didn't automaticly check for a new version of the page, so like you, not all the threads would load. I changged it to automatically check for updates, and my system anyway, runs a lot faster now. This may not be a good option for everything, but for what I do it works a lot better.

I used to spend a lot of time on this forum, until the last format change...it's just too slow in rendering a page. The last format wasn't like that for me...what happened?

Anyone else notice the decline in speed?

Something is up... I'm on a digital cable modem and it's always been fine, but in the last few days it's dial-up slow.

What's changed in the last few days?

I am on a T1 and it is slow everyday for the last month or so I have been here. This is the only real slow forum I am on. I am only on during the daytime, so I cannot say about evenings.

Superslow, but that will not keep me away.
