I’m signed up to race California International Marathon (CIM) in December with the goal of qualifying for Boston.
The only way I can make it work now is if I fly down Saturday late morning, the day before the race. I think my biggest concern is legs feeling stale etc.
I'm already on the west coast so travel is relatively brief. But, how hard will that make the race? Has anyone done something similar?
For Ironman I've always flown in ~3 days before. Just trying to decide now if it's workable before I find a different race - really hoping it's doable!
Thanks in advance for any insight.
