flights to SYR are pretty pricey...anyone knows how's the drive between Albany and Syracuse? I can find decent deals between ELP and ALB.

Far, but mostly highway. In the summer, it won't be bad. A little over two hours. I'd avoid Fridays, of course.

Albany to SYR is 2+hrs but 99% of it is on the same road, so it's an easy shot.

yeah...doesn't look so good either....get to ALB at 10pm...11pm before leaving airport + 2h drive...nope.
