I'm having trouble finding the torque spec on the stem faceplate for the IA16. Anyone know what it is?
On the seat clamp, one side freely comes lose, the other side seems very rigidly in place. Is there a secret to getting that moving?
I have a 2018 and the faceplate of the stem is a standard 4 bolt.
While I'm unable to find the exact torque spec, standard for that size bolt is 5 to 6 Nm. I'm doing this from memory, I think it's an M5 bolt.
On my seat clamp, as I remember it's a standard sex screw. If one side loosens and the other side doesn't, a gentle tap on the loose side should free the other side.
I hope this helps.
A solid tap/bang of the nose of the saddle should get things loosened up.
