Felt B2 or Cervelo P2
Hey Fellow Triathletes.

I'm in the market for a used bike for Sprint and Olympic distance tri's (Half IM next year) and wanted to get some opinions on two bikes I'm looking at. I'm on a budget so buying something in the 1k+ range just isn't in the cards any time soon. The ones I found below both seem solid, despite the B2 being much older.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. Included below are the details I have for each. Photos are attached. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Felt B2 (Looks like a 2004):
-Aluminum frame
-Dura Ace shifters, rear derailleur, crankset
-Ultegra brakes, front derailleur
-Profile Carbon X aero bar setup
-Mavic Cosmic Elite wheels
-Cobb Max saddle ($200 saddle)
-Speedplay pedals
- $700

2012 Cervelo P2:
- FSA Gossamer Pro brakeset Vision handle bars Shimano ultegra Plus extras.
- $750

I think the P2 is practically a no-brainer. Back in that era, I think the P2 was the king of the hill.

I have that same P2

Very happy with it.

I could get a new bike but don’t see the reason to

Definitely seems like the difference in years alone would be enough to make the Cervelo the obvious choice. Thanks for the input.
