Feeling lazy....
confession time - I haven't even touched the bike since before Christmas. It's been sitting on the trainer, waiting for me. :( I should be getting on it, I know I'll be happy once I do, but the thought of starting.... well, I always manage to find a reason to NOT do it. Laundry, or cleaning the house, or another 5 mins of the videogame I'm playing (I just level capped Borderlands 3), or just one more round of sudoku....

I really should be getting on it. I want to.... I just don't.

Kick my ass so I get on that bloody thing tonight.

According to some studies* your more than 10weeks of lost bike fitness will take at least 100weeks to recapture.

Get your ass going!!! Think about how good it will feel to be strong and fit when you can finally do outside!!

*completely made that part up.

Just wear and wash your clothes in the shower, I’ve heard that’s a thing

Anyone who does laundry and cleans the house as excuses to avoid riding the bike... Probably showers three times a day.

Htfu!

How are you doing now, anyway? I suppose I could look at the other thread, but I'm too lazy...

Good. Waiting to get discharged from my second hospital stay (minor complications). I can walk again....about 500 ft at a time. I've got about 2/3rd of my lung capacity back. I'm pretty anemic... Hemoglobin, hematocrit, and red blood cell count are all about 2/3rd of normal. That'll come back with some activity and diet, though.

Glad to be alive.

That'll be extra-motivating then, with my wife chasing after me with a machete and all that...

Wimp. You are quickly loosing your bad ass status.

You may as well give me all your gear. You'll never use it.

There's something wrong with those habits (laundry, cleaning)... ;-)
(Hope your wife's health is ok btw).
You'll be fine for the lack of motivation. Don't worry.
A few weeks of intensity work when you're ready and you'll be back in shape.
The weather forecast for the next week is terrible anyways. We won't be able to go outside anytime soon ( 1 1/2 month in my region anyways) ...

Louis :-)

Went to get on the bike after the kids were in bed, and I have a flat tire and no spare tube....

Seems the gods are conspiring against me.

I did get in a core session though. So there’s that.
