Falling off the trainer problem
I have ridden on my trainer since early 2017. Loved every minute of it. The past month or so something weird happened. It feels like I am about to fall off the left side of the trainer. The trainer is really wiggly and I have tried, without success, to remedy this by raising and lowering the legs, altering the angle of the legs and even changing the hight of the cassette (Wahoo Kickr). At one point I thought I had it figured out; that I was attaching the bike at an angle, but the problem remained. I get that I am overseeing something, but I am obviously too dim to understand what. I have tried to attach the bike as hard as I can without destroying anything, but it didn't help.

So smart people on Slowtwitch, can you please help me? It used to be steady for 2 years.

Use a spirit measure angled across the saddle or ideally the handlebars to check if there really is a slant or not. If not... go to a doctor perhaps and ask about your balance. Could be an ear issue?

Could the tightening mechanism that tightens over the trainer skewer be a bit loose? This happened to my wife, who nearly fell off, when she didn't tighten it enough after switching my bike off and hers on.

That sounds like a possibility. Thanks! Will check it out right away.

I guess if balance was the problem I would have had the same problems on other trainers and out on the road :)
