FSA chainrings/cranks
I was just looking at the FSA website and noticed that they have a new big ring that is machined and looks like a circular saw blade like the Dura ace .... I need to replace my crankset for the upcoming season. Anyone used/seen reviews for these or are they just too new? Another question related .... how do their aluminum cranks compare with Shimano?

We saw some samples at Interbike but haven't received any of the new rings. Now expereince with the aluminum cranks yet except on some O.E.M. bikes where they have proven to be, at the least, very good.

I have no idea what the current availability of the FSA TT rings is, they/we were still ironing the bugs out when I left. I can tell you the rings will be pretty cool.
#1, they're not flat like the Shimano, but elliptical in profile. Might be worth a watt or 2, who knows (I walked a set over to a well known aero guru at Interbike, and he was interested, thought it was a good idea.)
#2 there are actually an inner and outer ring, the outer being the aforementioned elliptical style, and the inner being a beefed up/stiffer inner in 42/44/46t
