We just started our pool construction project today, and there's craploads of dirt everywhere. I'm trying to ignore this at the moment by fast-forwarding in my mind to a time in the (hopefully) not too distant future where I'm swimming in my new Endless Pools Fastlane unit. I have a few questions for those of you with Endless Pools. I can't quite figure out the best way to structure workouts in the EP, or how to track/log them in Training Peaks.
If you're doing intervals, do you just set the EP speed to whatever pace you want, and then do intervals by time? How would I track and log such a workout? It doesn't seem like I can use the 'pool swim' feature on the FR935. Since it won't detect any turns it can't gauge laps/distance. Do you just track time and HR, and then manually guesstimate the distance you've swum based on the pace you set the EP to, and use hrTSS in Training Peaks? Thanks.
