Eagle Wheel Opinion
In the market, again, for race wheels. Anyone have a review / experience / opinion of Eagle Wheels? Have seen them on Amazon for $1k+ for a pair with Conti GP 4000's already mounted. I'm budget minded, but want a decent wheel. Any help would be apreciated.

I have a 65/90 set. Absolutely love them. No complaints or issues.

In that price range I'd look for a set of HED Jet 6+. Gerlach has a decent review here http://www.thomasgerlach.com/...n-aero-wheelset.html If you look around, you'll likely be able to find a set via MyBikeShop with casette, tires and tubes in the $1100 range.

If you are going to spend 1k, you are better off buying a set of flo wheels or some HED’s like someone said above.

I have the 60/90s and absolutely love them. I’ve used them in two full distance Ironmans, including Kona last year, and Buffalo Springs half ironman last week where winds gusted to 47 mph. I had zero issues with staying in aero the whole race. Full disclosure, I’m an ambassador for them but I really do love their wheels and their company. It’s a fantastic company to work with!
