The Des Moines Register ran and article today about the race I am helping to put on this weekend. Its called the Doughnut Run, and should a really fun time. I am quoted several times in the article. Anyway if you around Ames Iowa this weekend come over for a very unique 5k. Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be served at every aid station (approx 1/3mile apart) and for every doughnut you eat during the run, time is deducted off your finish time.
We are doing it as a fundraiser to help the Iowa State University triathlon club attend the collegiate national championship race in Phoenix in a couple weeks.
