Do you boycott any products?
Not trying to name and shame here, but are you currently boycotting any companies or product for the following reasons?

-Actions of their parent company (don't want to turn this into a political circle jerk).
-Poor customer service/warranty experience in the past
-Poor product reliability
-Poor product value. Maybe you refuse to buy another product of theirs that is more of a "loss leader"

About to end a boycott myself over a poor warranty experience. I figure the new product is a leader in its category and there has probably been full turnover within the company with whoever dealt with my case

In the end, ultimately it probably makes sense to buy what gives you the best value. Ie: I don't agree with what Vista Brands donates to, but from an environmental and economic standpoint, I think less Camelbaks have made their way to the landfill due to leaking than comparable hydration bladders.

Definition of a self-fulfilling prophesy :-)

Also, no. I do not actively, purposely boycott any companies.

Jimmy Johns. I don't support big game hunting for sport...so when the news that the founder enjoyed the activity I stopped buying their subs.
A local brewery based on treatment of employees. Luckily there are thousands of other options.
All things Trump, during and after this stint. Before I just thought he was a rich buffoon with some ties sold at Macy's and a TV show. With that said I guess I unconsciously boycotted him then based on the terrible tie collection...

Walmart

I've never had a positive experience. I've always received a sub-par product, slower than promised, in stores that tend to be disgusting.

So the Walmart Kellogs Frosted Flakes, Diet Coke and Little Friskies Cat food are sub-par?

That's good to know. Thanks for the info.

Ryanair. Because they are shoite and treat passengers with distain, screwing them over for every opaque add-on-penalty they can.

No more Giro or Camelbaks... as the holding company are a bunch of gun-pushing NRA fanatics.

Specialized. As their attitude to a cracked frame totally sucked (chain stay cracked in middle on a full susser. Said stays are not part of frame (FFS really, they were on it when I bought the FRAME !) And so only have 12 month warranty rather than 5 years that the warranty on a frame implies. t-hoossseerrs).
Their loss since; road bike, TT bike and new full suss MTB all purposely avoided Specialized, for a $90 chainstay (which probably cost them $10 to make).

Endura. After spending $3k+ over the years, another disdainful attitude to me as customer on a returned cycling jacket for repair (just wanted it repaired as was still pristine with a small handful of wears, I was not even asking for replacement, just a fix) with a huge gaping hole where stitching was missing from original manufacture (retail shop closed down so couldn't return there).

I’ve been boycotting McDonald’s and the other main fast food joints for the past 25 years. I’ve gone hungry on a couple of road trips when I didn’t have food with me, but maybe only a few times over all these years. To be honest, I’m not even sure I can even articulate why I’ve been doing it!

This thread reminds me why I hate learning people's political views.

The point is, ladies and gentleman, that speed, for lack of a better word, is good. Speed is right, Speed works. Speed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.
