How ironic would it be if the following happened:

The last minute adjustments to her bike that she mentions caused her seat to be too high. The seat being too high caused her back and knee pain. That then caused her to have to walk during the marathon. That, in turn, led to the original post here.

Such a course of events would truly make her the Queen of Slowtwitch, and would validate all the "Your seat is too high" comments. The negative to this, of course, would be that we'd see a doubling or tripling of such comments going forward.

What is with Firefaces involvement with Desiree? Is Fireface like her agent or is there more? If I wanted to set up a "meet and greet" between Smartasscoach and Desiree...do we have to set this up through Fireface?

I chatted with her at Wildflower last year. Wow she is one hottie with a beautiful athletic body. Hope that doesn't make me a pervert but she seems to be a real nice woman and a heck of an athlete.

there's pics of her all over the internet - I was honestly giving some advice to not take part in what would become a fiasco

Here's what would happen:

Desiree would post her pics-

1) everyone would comment that her seat was too high and her house was too messy / grass needed to be mowed / walls needed to be painted

2) Frank Day would explain that she would go faster on a set of powercranks and run a 2:40 marathon

3) Slowman would grumble that her position is too slack

4) Tom D would comment that he wished she was 18 and had a higher % of bodyfat

5) upon receiving an email from her, SAC would dance around his house singing show tunes all day

I don't think anyone wants that

All those AG'ers out there suffering, and here she is, obviously enjoying herself.

I think that no matter how talented, outgoing, and upbeat she is (and attractive too), she should at least have the common decency to pretend she is suffering.

It's people like this who ruin the sport for the rest of us.
