I have not exactly been playing along since I have a different agenda with three races in three weeks and this mini epic camp thing falls right in my lap. So without really trying to amp up the training, this is where it is at as of Thursday:

Saturday: 6 mile easy run, 24 points

Sunday: 9 mile run (10km race in 36:05), 36 points

Monday: 8 mile easy run
25 mile ride, 57 points

Tuesday: 30 mile ride (club ride, hammered half of it)
4 mile easy run, 46 points

Wednesday: 4 mile easy run
106 mile ride (9000ft climbing) 122 points

Thursday: 4 mile easy run
25 mile easy ride, 41 points

6 day total: 326 points

legs feel great actually...makes a huge difference to be able to train and have time to rest instead of rushing to work...
Actually, I feel surprisingly great after 6 days.
The only thing is I will not do the Bataan, this is likely going to shell me for good after 9 days of hard training.

"The road goes on forever and the party never ends." -Robert Earl Keen

Today I came close to cracking. Maybe it's because this week has been my highest run total in over three years and I have a long run scheduled tomorrow morning. Maybe it's because at the end of the 9 days I will have surpassed my Feb. swim total. Maybe it's because some ne'er do-well sent their sick kid to my son's class last week and now the whole family has a cold except my wife. What ever the case, I press on. I had a big bag of nothing at the start of this mornings run, but managed to pull myself together for a solid day.

My Red Raiders won. I got some work done. And this will all be over in three days. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Thurs
swim-3000
bike-16
run-10
Pts-86
Six-day total-545

Day 6 report: (hopefully today will be my lowest pts. day)

15 mile bike = 15 pts.

2000 swim = 20 pts. (should get bonus pts. for dragging myself away from March Madness)

6 day total = 346.5 pts.

Oh no, I believe I caught a cold between yesterday and today. Run this morning was still fine, but on tonight's ride I felt cold the whole time despite the fact that our temps were hovering around a balmy 60 degrees, and now I am sitting here typing with a runny nose. :-(
I know that many people on this board would love to train in nice conditions like that, and my utmost respect goes out to those who have to train in truly adverse conditions.
Day 1-5 269 points
03/18 6:10 am 6mile run 24 points
03/18 6:15 pm 30mile bike 30 points
Day 6 totals: 323 points

Today I was on the bike and decided to go an extra 9 miles just for the points. Very very bad. Again, I am counting my weight training as 30, capped at 60, based on the apparent detente between Gordo and Dan. I am assuming that's legit as Dan acknowledged my total as stated in his write-up.

Sat: 64 (13 mile run/1200 swim)
Sun: 55 (ride)
Mon: 68 (3000 swim/big gym session/2 mile run)
Tue: 50 (18 mile ride/8 mile run)
Wed: 54 (2200 swim/8 mile run)
Thurs: 57 (3000 swim/27 bike)

So that is:

9400 swim; 100 ride; 31 run = 318 + 30 = 348

I need a day off, my math sucks.

this morning I ran 6.5 for 26 points. This afternoon I rode 32 that was either uphill in a 39X23 or downhill in a 53X12. Ran another 3.5 tonight as well for 14 more points.
Was at 267 + 72 today = 339

Another consistent day for me:

Bike: 30km
Swim: 400m

6 day total: 102

Now, there's rumours people are getting points for yoga and the like? Does that mean I can get bonus points for doing all my cycling on an MTB with suspension and a backpack on? ;-)

Just out of curiosity Francois, how much mileage do you do on a non-epic, working week?
