Dating App for Triathletes
https://www.220triathlon.com/...nly-for-triathletes/

Just thought I'd share. I moderate a group of endurance athletes on facebook that happens to be more women than men and my sharing this resulted in a bit of interest! Figured I'd balance things out by sharing on the apparently male-dominated ST forums. ;)

Apologies to both the users and admin of ST, if my assessment of users on ST is incorrect. Perhaps it's just the threads I tend to read or just the more active voices!

I am probably a terrible person, because when I read this articles I thought; I wonder how many of the people on this app are really single, vs how many are "looking to pickup a second sport"

That's better than my first impression. I thought the screening criteria would be based on the finishing time one would like to date.

there wasn't an existing app for people with narcissistic personality disorders?

I think there are too many different apps, and such ones aren't an exception. My cousin is so presumptuous that he hangs on Las Vegas hookups site just for that purpose and he gets success. So "there is a customer for every product".

There's a new porn app exclusively for swimmers

It's called "OnlyFins"

I'm not sure why the app is getting so many childish comments on here. I personally don't see anything wrong with providing a means to connect with others in the sport.

It's not the app that matters, it's how you use it.

The best app for triathletes would be something like GolfMates, so you know you have four or five hours for a long ride or run each week, and someone sympathetic to spending hundreds or thousands on marginal gains.

Instead of "Swiping Right" you message "On Your Left!"

But then you get the people who ask "Does 'swipe right' mean FROM the right or TO the right?" who are probably the same people who think "On your left!" means "turn to the left"

Ha... I find that sometimes explaining to people how eTap works on road bikes ends up being a bit confusing too. For me, how it's easy to understand it, and at least in its default setting, to shift your rear derailleur, use the same side hand as where you want the chain to move (left hand, chain moves to the left & vice versa). However, there's a good percentage of time that people interpret this as "left hand chain shifts to the right" because with your left hand, you're effectively pushing the button to the right. Anyway I guess my point is even the simplest of concepts can be made to be complicated.
