The term Bottom Dead Center has a well-understood meaning, and that meaning applied to cycling would place the pedal in the 6:00 position, not at the 5:25 or 5:27 position as you intend.
instead of using BDC, I propose you use "the point of maximal extension" instead.
What do you say?
